Partnership Supports Business and Employee Relationships

Employer of Choice Diagram

Jefferson County Workforce Center has created an employer-led consortium to build a business culture that attracts, retains and supports our local businesses and their employees. The result of this effort will be a local business environment where employers and employees prosper and thrive. For more information on the consortium or if you would like to join, please contact Liddy Romero, project manager, at lromero@jeffco.us or 720-519-3056.

Public-Private Partnership

This public-private partnership will address the business issues unique to Jefferson County. This effort has been successful in Grand Rapids, Michigan - where the partnership has aided employers and employees in creating an improved business culture.

The Jefferson County partnership will focus on many issues, such as:

  • Talent management
  • Creating and motivating an engaging work culture
  • Effective leadership and management
  • Understanding the "Language of Poverty"
  • Employee retention
  • Skills training
  • Barrier resolution

The partnership will leverage public, private and governmental resources to improve organizations' productivity and innovation. Employers' collaborative efforts will create work environments that support and encourage employees' ingenuity, loyalty and creativity. Embracing a Triple Bottom Line culture will provide positive return on investment as well as long-term prosperity for our community.

Triple Bottom Line Principle

The triple bottom line principle is based on simultaneously building social, ecological, and financial capital. Setting goals in these three sustainable areas has proven to drive innovative financial solutions.
