Comments: The 9th Annual E3 Career and Resource Fair is Thursday, September 9th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Colorado Convention Center.
E3 stands for Education, Employment, and Economic Growth and is a job fair for the unemployed, underemployed, or those looking to change careers.
There will be many workshops to help jumpstart your job search or even give you ideas on starting your own business. Many companies with job opportunities will be on hand, as well as educational institutions to help with your plans for future career goals. Also, come talk to industry associations to learn about future job opportunities in their fields.

A JOB CLUB FOR PROFESSIONALS IN CAREER TRANSITION

Comments:
The Jefferson County Professional Connections Job Club provides a weekly opportunity to network and learn valuable information on topics like interviewing, salary negotiation and personal branding. The job club is a partnership between Jefferson County Workforce Center and St. Anthony Hospitals Health Passport Program. The group is facilitated by Professional Career Consultant, Kate Culligan.
Meetings are free and participants are encouraged to provide leads and support to their fellow job seekers. Most who attend are mid-career professionals who have been laid-off or downsized by local companies. The group provides an opportunity to fight isolation, seek support and information on how to transfer their current skills to new industries or positions. Many group members have successfully transitioned to new careers.
