Colorado Works
Colorado Works offers families looking for stability and self-sufficiency the tools and support to build a bright future.
There are several programs 
that can bring real relief to families faced with a financial emergency and provide basic support as you progress towards independence:
- The Diversion Assistance for Emergencies program helps families faced with a specific and immediate crisis, and is short-term financial support.
- The Basic Cash Assistance program offers skills and training classes. Also a counselor will help you create a plan with the goal of generating enough income to support your family.

Colorado Child Care Assistance Program
The Child Care Assistance program will help pay for quality child care while you look, or train for a job. (Read more: PDF program brochure)
The Child Support Services Unit helps custodial and non-custodial parents and legal guardians in Jefferson County with a wide-range of services from paternity testing to collecting past due child support along with many other services.
