The Jefferson County Workforce Center offers several programs to assist families.

Colorado Works

Colorado Works offers families looking for stability and self-sufficiency the tools and support to build a bright future.

There are several programs Child Care Assistance Brochure imagethat can bring real relief to families faced with a financial emergency and provide basic support as you progress towards independence:

  • The Diversion Assistance for Emergencies program helps families faced with a specific and immediate crisis, and is short-term financial support.
  • The Basic Cash Assistance program offers skills and training classes. Also a counselor will help you create a plan with the goal of generating enough income to support your family.

The Child Support Services Unit helps custodial and non-custodial parents and legal guardians in Jefferson County with a wide-range of services from paternity testing to collecting past due child support along with many other services.
