Part of a statewide network, the Jefferson County Workforce Center connects job seekers with companies looking for talent in the Jefferson, Gilpin and Clear Creek County areas. In 2008 we helped over 34,000 people with career transitions.
The Jefferson County Workforce Center offers everything a job seeker needs from Internet access to fax and copy machines. Review the center's monthly workshop calendar offering dozens of classes from resume writing to professional networking -- all workshops are offered at no cost.
Our services also extend to veterans and youth looking for their first job. And the workforce center offers several programs to assist families.
The business services team helps businesses with hiring, training, retention and expansion. Services are available to any size business and most of the services are offered at no cost. Skill sets of candidates range from entry-level to people with higher levels of education and advanced skill sets.
