- …worked hard on behalf of people with disabilities to find good employment opportunities. Last year, we exceeded the state goal for service to and placement of people with disabilities.

- …offered over 150 free workshops on resume writing, job interviewing, job searching, and much more.
- …sponsored over 30Hiring Events with companies such as Coors, SunDyne, HMS Host, and many others where people were interviewed, and in some cases, hired on the spot.
…sponsored special Job Fairs for both Youth and 50+ job seekers with over 100 potential employers at each event.
- …posted over 6,000 employment opportunities through the state’s Connecting Colorado job database.
- …helped a job seeker who had been laid off and out of work for several months realize, “Hey, I really can reinvent myself!”
- …sponsored a “Job Safari” Summer Camp where youth ages 14-21 experienced jobs firsthand at places such as Elitch Gardens, Lutheran Hospital, 9News, Red Rock Community College-Process Tech, and the U. S. Geological Survey
- …offered job search classes and job clubs specifically for 50+ job seekers.
- …showed people how to find their passions and use those passions as a basis for targeting jobs.
- …served over 24, 000 people in their job search by providing computers, internet access, fax and copy machines, and, best of all, expert advice from the Jefferson County Workforce Center’s well-trained Workforce Specialists.
