Our OJT program can be that partner. How it works BThe business provides the job. Jefferson County Workforce Center provides the prescreened, qualified applicant. In addition, the OJT program will pay for up to 50% of the employee’s gross wages (not including FICA, benefits, or overtime). Once your business is on board for the program, an OJT agreement is made between your business and our program. Agreements can be made for a variety of time periods, but cannot exceed six months. At the end of the OJT agreement, your company has a well-trained employee ready to continue adding value to your business’s bottom line. In addition, through the OJT program, some off-site training costs may qualify to be covered through the OJT agreement. Off site training may include software training and other such training that is not available at your workplace.
