About the Jefferson County Workforce Center

Part of a statewide network, the Jefferson County Workforce Center connects avid job seekers with companies looking for talent in the Jefferson, Gilpin and Clear Creek County areas. In 2007 we helped over 30,000 people with career transitions and placed more than 13,000 people into new jobs.
The center is much more than a job board. It is a true human resource.
The Jefferson County Workforce Center offers everything a job seeker needs from Internet access to fax and copy machines. Take a class on resume writing and interviewing skills at no cost. Attend one of the major job fairs offered throughout the year matching businesses with job seekers. Services help veterans, first-time job-seekers, and everyone in between.
The Business Services Team helps businesses with hiring, training, retention, and expansion. Support is also available to assist employees in finding new jobs after an unfortunate downsizing. Services are available to any size business and the majority of the services offered are at no cost. Skill sets of candidates range from entry-level to people with higher levels of education and advanced skill sets. Finding qualified employees couldn’t be easier or more cost effective.
